Founded in 1996
Didier Remacle founded Fine Line Agencies Group known as FLAGSA in August 1996 with three agencies and today represents over 50 curio, souvenir and gift agencies in the Western, Eastern Cape and Garden Route. The agency provides various services apart from representation, namely product development, merchandising, photographic and web services.

A personal touch
We always believe in a personal touch even though we are the largest agency of this type in South Africa. Core fundamentals determine the ethos of the enterprise together with the aspirations of the principal suppliers to see their products sell and business grow.

Consumer advocacy is foremost, unlike some other representation agencies we never force the customer or over supply. Each curio Rand has to make an impact on their business. It is with this understanding that we have success and a growing customer base. Our customer list is private and confidential - never shared or disclosed.

Keeping up with times
Evolution of the business enterprise from simple order books to a world class ordering systems impresses our suppliers, nothing is hand written all orders are electronic sent via email or a delivery method of their choice, fax, download. Our introduction to web based supply of information such as catalogues and e-ordering have strategically placed us ahead of the pack. The shear volume and choice in the e-catalogues and an emphasis on getting to keywords to find the item required is paramount. All communications to the agents from the office is conducted via Smartphones and laptops. Because our customers vary, some like old fashioned catalogues, our agents are equipped with a full set and up-to-date price lists. In addition e-ordering via this website adds a competitive advantage. The site is used as a catalogue reference and ordering tool.

Growing a business
Our aim is to grow three businesses in one go! The principal suppliers business and the retail shops, initially just representing the product has evolved in us being involved with merchandising, direct representation and providing web and photographic services at a fraction of the cost.
