The Nest Egg
The Nest Egg 
Nest Egg was started in 1982 by Sherry and Dave Rowe. Sherry is an accomplished découper,who qualified in America in many aspects of the modern craft of découpage and was responsible for the introduction of The National Guild of Découpers to South Africa. Prior to starting The Nest Egg, Sherry taught many hundreds of students in these various découpage aspects when she ran The Découpage Workshop in Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
In 1992 Dave gave up his work in sales and marketing to apply his skills to The Nest Egg and so joined Sherry in actively promoting the sale of Découpage ostrich eggs. From that time on the company has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of découpage ostrich eggs in South Africa. We have over the years developed both local and export sales to Europe, America and many other far flung corners of the world.
